1957 Ford Thunderbird. Convertible. This car was a frame on restore job. Both the engine and the transmission are original from the date it was produced. Call 404 386 2242 While I was restoring this vehicle, I only restored it with original parts and I actually save all the receipts, and installation paperwork, that is in a binder that the winning buyer will get. This car has never been in a wreck, nor has it seen major rust. The Thunderbird was heat treated and there is no putty in the body/frame. I had the car repainted to the original raven black and the interior is a black on white leather bench seat. I have a white hard top and a tan soft top that will also come with this car. I currently have white wall tires on there with the original Kelly Hayes wire wheels. I just recently had them balanced and aligned. Both the engine and the transmission have been completely rebuilt, but they are still the original parts that came with the Thunderbird off the line. I also installed a new alternator along with air conditioning that sits below the dash. For the safety of the drive, I also equipped the car with power steering and power breaking. Has 53000 ACTUAL MILES. That is the miles that it has gathered since coming off the production line. The engine size is 312ci with 245 horsepower and is an automatic transmission. I have also installed an electric fuel pump, with hidden switch, and a hidden AM FM XM stereo with special speakers. The stereo is located in the glove compartment. To make the car shine, I also had the bumpers rechromed. This is truly an amazing classic, that unlike many others, has survived the test of time. I have enjoyed having it, and now hopefully I can find someone who will love having it just as much as I did. The buyer is responsible for pickup.
